Neema Namadamu is a visionary leader and activist from the Democratic Republic of Congo, dedicated to peace, women’s rights, and environmental protection. Overcoming polio as a child, she became the first woman with a disability from her ethnic group to earn a university degree. She later served as Chief Advisor to the DRC Minister of Gender and Family before founding Synergy of Congolese Women’s Associations (SAFECO) and the Maman Shujaa movement.
