Aminata “Amee Slam” Bamba is an influential Ivorian slam poet, performer, and advocate for social transformation. With appearances at over 30 international festivals and seven prestigious awards, she stands as a leading figure in African slam poetry. As President of Collectif Au Nom du Slam, Amee champions artistic expression as a tool for promoting social justice. Her accolades include the ECOWAS Special Prize for Slam and the African Talent Awards’ Best Female Slam Artist.
Armed with a master’s degree in business law, she seamlessly merges creativity with activism, leveraging spoken word to address critical issues like gender equality and human rights. In 2023, she marked a major milestone by launching her debut concert, N’Zassa.
