Maryam Bukar Hassan, widely known as Alhanislam, is a Nigerian poet, spoken word artist, and passionate gender advocate. Holding a degree in Information Technology from Radford University, Ghana, she strives to amplify the narratives of young African women through her creative work.

As the founder of True My Voice, she nurtures emerging poets in digital advocacy.
