Tendai Chisirimunhu Kathemba is a mental health advocate and founder of AbantuLives, a think tank integrating African Indigenous Knowledge Systems into psychological well-being. A licensed Specialist Wellness Counselor, she promotes decolonial approaches to mental health, prioritizing community-based healing. She has presented on rural public mental health, facilitated wellness sessions, and used media to shift mental health narratives. A Global Atlantic Fellow for Health Equity and YALI alumna, Tendai is committed to fostering transformative change in African mental health care.
