Zahra’ Langhi is a Libyan feminist, peace advocate, and co-founder of the Libyan Women’s Platform for Peace (LWPP), dedicated to promoting gender equality and inclusive governance. A pivotal figure in Libya’s post-Gaddafi transition, she has actively participated in UN-led peace negotiations and international forums addressing women’s rights.
Forced into exile due to targeted threats, Langhi continues to inspire movements for nonviolent resistance and women’s leadership in conflict resolution. Recognized by UNDP as one of the world’s foremost changemakers, her efforts emphasize constitutional reform, transitional justice, and safeguarding women’s rights in Libya’s recovery.
